The cooking course introduces you to the ingredients, typical Thai vegetables and fruits and of course the preparation of it! Think of spicy Thai salads and many more dishes of traditional Thai cuisine. You can choose a morning or afternoon trip. Both have different menus so please check them before booking. WHAT TO EXPECT ON THIS TOUR

Meet Ya, the owner of the cooking school. She is a professional chef and master of Thai Cuisine. She worked for two years as a chef at the prestigious Siam International Hotel in Bangkok. But her true passion lies with teaching. She opened the cooking school in 2001 and is ready to show you the secrets of Thai cooking. Even the famous chef Gordon Ramsay was here, so you’re in good hands!

The course starts with a pickup from Ao Nang or Krabi town, which is included in the price. After selecting the dishes you want to cook, we start preparing the ingredients. Everyone has its own utensils, stove and wok.One of the big secrets of Thai cuisine is the use of spices. We will teach you which ones match together and how they are used in Thai cooking. Then we start preparing the meals one by one, while Ya and her staff help you and explain how to do it. Do you want it spicy? No problem! The ingredients are all available. If you have a sensitive stomach, we can make sure the meals are cooked without the spicy addons.

To make sure you remember what you made, Ya includes a cookbook with recipes to try at home. Hopefully the ingredients can be found at your local market. When you’re done preparing the dishes, it’s time to eat! Of course you can enjoy your own cookery as well. The day ends with a transfer back to your hotel or villa in Krabi town or Ao Nang.
