Krabi

The perfect holiday getaway in the south of Thailand. Krabi is located between the provinces of Trang and Phang Nga.

The area around Krabi features beautiful landscapes, both on land and on the sea. The coastline is a whopping 150 kilometres long and features some of the best beaches in Thailand.

Think of the white sandy shores and crystal-clear water. On this island you can see large limestone cliffs, some of which feature caves and hidden waterfalls.

Most of the island is covered in dense jungle. There is enough to see and do here, think of island hopping, snorkelling, jungle trekking, diving, rock climbing and kayaking!

Solo travellers as well as families can find a wide array of activities and we at Net Tours Asia are happy to help you create an unforgettable holiday experience. Have you decided where to go yet?

For inspiration, take a look at our beach pages. Here, you can find the beach that suits you best.

While Ao Nang and Railay are the most popular beaches, have you explored lesser-known spots like Ao Thalane, Ao Nam Mao, or Ao Luk? And don’t forget about Nopperethara Beach, located next to Ao Nang.

HOW TO GET

TO KRABI

Train

Taking a train to Krabi is not possible as there is no railway here. It’s worth noting that as there are many misconceptions about it: the closest train stations are Trang (South of Krabi) and Surat Thani (East of Krabi). You can take a train to either of these destinations from Bangkok or anywhere along the line. From there you can continue the trip to Krabi.

There is no railway in Krabi, so you can’t actually get here by train! But it’s a common misconception that you can, so we feel it’s worth noting, if you were planning to come by this route. The nearest train stations are actually in Surat Thani to the north-east and Trang to the south. From either of these stations, it is possible to continue your journey to Krabi by bus (see above) or taxi.
