SAMUI ELEPHANT HOME PROGRAM
This ethical, half day tour gives you the opportunity to participate and spend time caring for Elephants as you observe them in their natural habitat. By visiting you will be able to contribute to a project aiming to build an Elephant Clinic here in Koh Samui.
ELEPHANT TOURS IN THAILAND
- Samui Elephant Home is a place with the intention to build a true home for Elephants.
- They provide a large wild area to ensure that the Elephants have enough freedom and future happiness.
- Visit a project to build the first Elephant hospital on the island.
- We offer a unique experience of hiking with Elephants through a forest area that we collaborated with the local community to provide, 10 acres of land for them to live happily in.
- Bath time for the elephants in a giant mud pool.
- Get photos and videos of your memorable time spent with them.

Itinerary
Morning program (09.00 -12.00)
Afternoon program (14.00 -17.00)
- Pick up from your hotel and get driven by car to the Samui Elephant Home, this journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes
- Receive an introduction about the concept and objectives from Samui Elephant Home staff
- Participate in preparing their food for the day, learn how to make supplementary foods for the elephants, afterward, feed organic food from our camps such as grass and bananas
- Observe elephants playing in a natural mud spa, this benefits them greatly by protecting their skin from insects and the sun!
- Walk with the elephants into the jungle
- Take a look at the first elephant nursery on Koh Samui where they have rescued elephants from doing hard work
- Play and shower with elephants

This tour is suitable for adults, and children over the age of 5 years
