EXCLUSIVE TREKKING EXPERIENCE DOI SUTHEP

Do a Exclusive Trekking Experience up to Doi Suthep temple, the closest mountain to Chiang Mai! This trekking tour is available daily and includes round trip hotel transfers from your hotel in Chiang Mai, all entrance fees, a licensed English speaking jungle ranger, drinking water, lunch and insurance. WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE EXCLUSIVE TREKKING

The day starts with a pickup from your hotel at around 08:00 in the morning. Are you staying outside Chiang Mai city? We can arrange a pickup for an extra fee, depending on your location. A small ride takes us to the foot of Doi Suthep, from where our trekking adventure starts. Keep in mind that this is a trek for those who want to experience nature without having to do elephant rides or rafting. You and your group will most likely be alone in the park, together with our experienced and friendly Doi Suthep park ranger!

Exploring the jungle around Doi Suthep is not allowed. That is why this trip is unique: you will not be surrounded by hordes of other tourists on your way up the mountain. And at the same time you will have the luxury of having your own experienced park ranger. He will explain you about the trail and the unique flora and fauna on the mountain.

We will make our way up to Mon Tha Than waterfall, from where the actual trek starts. Explore the breathtaking views on the way up. You will walk through bamboo forests, hardwood trees, past flower fields and birds nests. be sure to bring swimming clothes as there will be moments where you can cool off in the pools of waterfalls. The hike is easily doable for generally healthy people, but please make sure to bring good footwear. Walking comfortably is highly recommended.

The Exclusive Trekking Experience ends at the highest peak close to Chiang Mai: Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. From here you can enjoy the amazing views over the city. The altitude is just over 1 kilometer and the shiny golden temple attracts many tourists and Buddhist pilgrims from around the world. While you are there, take some pictures of the panoramic views around you! After our visit to the temple we serve you lunch. Enjoy the food while soaking up the tourist buzz at the temple. We then drive you down the mountain on the regular road and bring you back to your hotel or guesthouse in Chiang Mai.
