HALF DAY TRIPS AROUND SAMUI
This half day trip offers you the opportunity to explore a variety of attractions, including the Lady Monk Temple, the famous Big Buddha Temple, the breathtaking Chaweng viewpoint, and the fascinating Grandmother and Grandfather rocks (Hin Tai and Hin Yai). You can also visit coconut plantations with working monkeys (optional – 100 Baht charge on tour), see the Mummified Monk, go elephant trekking (optional) at Namuang Waterfall, and relax at a beach side restaurant.

What should you know if you go on this tour?
The tour includes van and driver. Our sample itinerary brings you to most of Koh Samui’s highlights in 5 hours. If you wish to extend your tour, please add THB 500 per hour. If you wish to go elephant trekking we can book that as well for you. NOT for cruise passengers. Please see ‘Tours for cruise passengers’ for the private van option if you are coming to Samui by Cruise liner
Sightseeing
With this tour you can see all highlights of Koh Samui in about 5 hours. Our standard itinerary includes the Mummified monk, viewpoints, Namuang Waterfalls, the Big Buddha and more. It covers all the highlights. If you feel like doing less sightseeing but more shopping (for example), we can change your itinerary easily. Remember; this tour includes van and driver for 5 hours so you can pretty much go anywhere you want!

The half day tour covers all the important spots that one can visit in Koh Samui. I would recommend taking the half day tour only on first day and then book a full day tour on the next. the benefit to this is that within the first half day tour you can acclimatize yourself to the weather condition and the customs o general behaviour in public and understand the traffic rules from the locals. On the following day just pick up a rental scooter and visit more nooks and corners of the island. The best part is the half day tour also takes you to the Na Muang waterfall for a dip in the pool and chill for sometime.
