A half-day experience at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary gives tourists an unforgettable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home, gain insight into their history and behavior, and create cherished memories of their time spent with these amazing animals throughout their lives.

Visitors to the Elephant Sanctuary will enjoy amazing views of the surrounding jungle, mountains, and beach – all while engaging in a healthy and secure atmosphere with friendly, happy elephants.

You will be picked up from your place of accommodation on the morning of your visit and travel through beautiful agricultural areas, hills, and beaches for approximately 1 hour before you arrive at the sanctuary. You’ll find your English-speaking guide there and hear about the elephants a little bit.

Half-Day Elephant Experience Walk Through

You will walk through the sanctuary with your guide after having allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed the elephants, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. When you read about their lifestyle and activities, you can touch, drink, photograph, and communicate with the elephants at your leisure.

You’ll accompany them to a nearby mud spa after you’ve met all the elephants. Stay dirty with the elephants when you wash their skin with natural cosmetic oil. First, you’ll walk to a nearby pool with the elephants and join them for a relaxing bath in the sun. Take a swim and help the elephants to bathe and brush while wading and playing in the mud.

You will take some final pictures with them once the elephants are clean, and then it will be time to split ways with your new friend and transform them into some dry clothes. Finally, before you drive back to your hotel, enjoy a delightful Thai buffet before you say the last goodbye to your new friends.

Morning Tour

• 6:30-7:30 am Pick up from your hotel or accommodation in Phuket.
• 8:00 am Arrive at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket. Enjoy a welcome snack, sip tea or coffee, and learn about elephants as you are given an introduction to our program.
• 8:15 am Assist with the preparation of natural dietary supplements for the elephants.
• 8:30 am Meet the elephants. Feed them and administer dietary supplements as you learn their stories. Play, interact and take photos with the elephants in a natural setting.
• 9:00 am Mud spa with the elephants.
• 9:30 am Swimming with elephants
• 10:00 am Join the elephants in our specially constructed outdoor “Elephant Shower”
• 10:20 am Use our facilities to take a (regular) shower, dry off, and change clothes.
• 10:30 am Eat a lunch of traditional Thai food, freshly cooked Pad Thai, and seasonal fruit, before saying goodbye to the friendly elephants.
• 11:00 am Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and drive for approximately 1 hour back through spectacular island scenery.
• 12:00-12:30 pm Drop off at your hotel or accommodation.

Afternoon Tour
