About the snorkeling tour at the Hong islands

This day trip takes you from Krabi, Ao Nang or surroundings to the beautiful Hong islands. Two way transfers are included, as well as Thai buffet lunch, full insurance, a professsional guide, drinking water and snorkeling equipment (mask and snorkel). What to expect on this tour

The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel or villa. Our driver and guide will meet you at your hotel at around 8:00 if you’re staying in Krabi Town or Klong Muang. If your hotel is in Ao Nang, we will pick you up around 8:30. The pickups take around 30 minutes, after which we arrive at Nopparat Thara pier. Here we board the longtail boat at around 9:00 and we head to the Hong islands. Our first stop is Koh Daeng or Red island. This beautiful red rock is famous for its crystal clear waters and good snorkeling opportunities. Enjoy the coral and fish and swim or snorkel around.

The longtail boat then takes us to Koh Lading, also known als Paradise island. Here you can get to the beach and enjoy the fine white sands. Just relax, play ferris or go swimming or snorkeling again. This island is also known for its shallow bird caves, which you can explore if you want.

Hong Lagoon or Hong beach is our next stop. These rock formations are towering out of the water, which is a great photo opportunity. The lagoon is encircled by high karst formations. Take a look at the wildlife and everything else nature has blessed us with. If the tide is high, you can also jump in for a swim here.

The boat then takes us to Hong island beach. We enjoy a Thai buffet lunch (vegetarian food available) and relax for a while. Take a look at the long stretch of beach and jump in if you need to be refreshed after lunch.

At around 15:00 we board the longtail boat again for our return journey to Nopparat Thara beach. This should take around 45 minutes, depending on the water conditions. We arrive at the pier at 16:00, from where our air conditioned minivans will bring you back to the hotel. An experience never to forget!

Please note that you can spend the free time during this tour as you please. You can either relax or sleep, or go sunbathing the whole day. Snorkeling equipment is included for those who want to explore the under water life. Or just explore the beautiful wildlife and nature of South Thailand!

ITINERARY

• 08:00 – 08:30- Pickup from your hotel. The exact pickup time will be stated on your voucher
• 09:00 – Departure from Nopparat Thara pier by longtail boat to the Hong islands
• First stop: Koh Daeng or Red island. Enjoy snorkeling, sunbathing or swimming
• Stop 2: Koh Lading or Paradise island.  Explore the shallow bird caves or go swimming/snorkeling/sunbathing
• Stop 3: Hong Lagoon. Beautiful sightseeing with high cliffs
• Stop 4: Enjoy a traditional Thai buffet at a beachside restaurant
• Stop 5: Hong island Beach. Enjoy the beautiful white sand and go swimming, relaxing or snorkeling.
• 15:00 – We depart from Hong island by longtail boat back to Nopparat Thara Pier
• 16:00 – Our airconditioned minivan will bring you back to your hotel in Krabi, Ao Nang or surroundings
